Jodhpur to host Tri-Services Commanders’ Conference

The 33rd Tri-Services Commanders’ Conference is being hosted by South Western Air Command, at Air Force Station Jodhpur on July 7-8.

The objective of the two days Tri-Services Commanders’ Conference is to strengthen and promote jointness amongst the three services.

The concept of operations in a network centric warfare scenario and exploitation of newly inducted weapon systems for enhancing operational capability in a synergized tri-service environment would be the focus of the conference. Matters related to Joint Operations and tactical issues related to Southern region will also be discussed.

The Tri Services Commanders’ Conference of Southern Region is an annual feature amongst the seven Commanders’ of the Army, Navy and the Air Force Southern Command of the Indian Army, Western Naval Command, Eastern Naval Command and Southern Naval Command of Indian Navy, South Western Air Command and Southern Air Command of the Indian Air Force and Andaman and Nicobar Command, a Tri-Service Command take part in it.
