Sacrificing Kadaknath – black chicken native of Madhya Pradesh which bleeds black and some other rituals in order to please Bagulamukhi of Peetambara Peeth are enough to control most of the enemies. But this time Vasundhara Raje is going all out to entice gods and goddesses from Tripura Sundari in Banswara to Baijnath – one of the twelve Jyotirlinga at Deoghar in Jharkhand. Challenges are formidable and so are the opponents.
Vasundhara Raje, the second term Chief Minister of Rajasthan, is fighting for her political survival in Rajasthan. An born fighter as termed by her mother Vijaya Raje Scindia in her book ‘Dowager Princess’, Vasundhara Raje has been fighting battles outside and within since her younger days. An astute politicians who do not shy away to employ innovative measure to counter any opponent is now finding herself without elbow room for maneuvering. Serpents are waiting in toe and daggers are already out.
Raje has been a bad judge of person she chooses, and that is why one who follows her closely knows that talented people come, make merry and go away with some dent in the fast ageing life of a woman politician. But Vasundhara Raje has lived proverbial ‘nine lives of a cat’ in her political career spanning more than 30 years.
However, the situation she is facing now has potential to put a lid on her political career. Opponents this time are known to be ruthless and have history of silencing the dissent especially when it comes from someone ‘very own’.
As rumors goes, Raje has become first regional satrap in BJP to challenge the authority of Modi-Shah duo. Vasundhara Raje has been one politician in BJP who has not been comfortable with rise of Narendra Modi. But controversies always surrounded around her flamboyant style of functioning ranging from regular corruption allegations to her relation with controversial businessman Lalit Modi. Raje has distinction of one Indian politicians who is described as innovative, forward looking and corrupt politicians in wikileaks. What she lacks most is the moral high ground which is required to remain steadfast when the Modi whirlwind turns towards Rajasthan in the run of the assembly in 2018 and crucial general election of 2019.
Vasundhara Raje is now left in lurch in her own ‘Chakravyuh’. Will she be able to barge the trust deficit with BJP central leadership, whether she will be able to enjoy the support of RSS continuously and what can be her possible future role in scheme of things within BJP? These are the crucial questions which will be answered by circumstances developing in coming weeks and months. The interesting answer from the grass root level bjp cadre is, ‘Sanu ki’.
